Amar Meddahi

Doctoral Researcher in Energy Meteorology

Final-year Ph.D. student at Mines Paris – PSL and TotalEnergies. I study how weather dynamic affects solar energy systems and how we can better anticipate it.

In 2025, my research was awarded third place (out of 70+ PhD applicants) in the 9th edition of the Pierre Laffitte Prize (media, photo).

Outside research, I enjoy running, art exhibitions, and touching grass. I also like learning from others' journeys, so I compiled a list of PhD resources for incoming doctoral students.
